Craftster swaps

Since joining Craftster in March 2010, I have participated in 14 swaps. Here are some pictures of items I made for these swaps - they are made based on both a swap theme and my partner's likes.

First up is a bag I made for "Make a Purse and Fill it" swap - this was the first swap I completed.
This is a painting I did for Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Swap - it depicts the descent of the Petunias and the quote
A bag I made for the T-shirt Swap - it's made out of an old tshirt and second hand fabric bits
A bag for the aforementioned Hitchhiker's Guide Swap

A needle book, same swap as above
Apron for the Yarnies Vs Sewists Swap
A dog lead for the Dog Swap - no we didn't swap dogs lol
This painting was made for the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Swap when I was an angel, an angel is used when a partner "flakes" or does not meet the requirement of the swap. An angel sends a package to make up for the other person flaking on someone.
 Bag for the above swap
Wallet for the Yarnies vs Sewists
Reflector stripes for dogs leads for Dog Swap
 The other lead
Christmas Inchies. An inchie must be either 1x1inch or 2x2 inch, there are some other variations too. I made most of mine as 2x2

My picks for some items I have made this year

A long top made from two old t-shirts, patched together - I did not use a pattern for most of this, apart from the bust area.
 An embroidered pillow case
A 1920's bag - this was made out of an old bed sheet and left over sequins band and tassle from my matching dress
 Stick weave scarf
 Guitar bag
 Christmas ornament
 Bunny toy
Wine bottle corset

Introducing me

Hi there
I'm a 25 year old female from Australia and I have been crafting for approximately a year. I have tried out a range of crafts, including (but not limited to) sewing, stick weaving, paper crafts such as card making and origami, painting and have dabbled a little with crochet.

This blog will be used to show case what I've made, and I will also post the occasional tutorial.

In the future, I intend to open an Etsy shop and this will also be showcased here.

Thanks for reading :)
